Last month vivo sub-brand iQOO made the Z9x official in China, and it looks like the phone is coming to India very soon. Spare parts pricing is already available for the Z9x on vivo’s Indian website, signifying a launch in the very near future in the country. This also shows the RAM/storage combos that will be offered in India: 4/128GB, 6/128GB, and 8/128GB.
The iQOO Z9x is identical to the vivo T3x which launched in India in mid-April starting at INR 13,499 (approximately $161 or €151 at the current exchange rates). And when we say identical, we mean 100% the same device on the inside, with the only difference being the shape of the camera island. Even so, the actual cameras are in identical spots – if you see it, you can’t unsee it.
So, the iQOO Z9x (and vivo T3x) has a 6.72-inch 120 Hz IPS LCD touchscreen with 1,000-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 at the helm, a 50 MP main rear camera with a 2 MP depth sensor next to it, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast wired charging. It runs Android 14 which will have Funtouch OS 14 on top in India.
