The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming soon – this month, most likely. It will also get a global release, and it’s been rumored to sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
This has now been confirmed because a prototype has run Geekbench AI. The prototype scored rather low on the test, suggesting the tester didn’t choose to use the hardware-accelerated NPU engine in the phone. Regardless, it gives a glimpse of the specs.
Its listing in the benchmark’s online database reveals the Adreno 830 GPU, which only the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC has. The phone ran Android 15 as you’d expect and had 16GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to come with a 1-inch type main camera sensor (Sony’s Lytia LYT-900), a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX858 short-range zoom camera, and a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide. We should also see a QHD+ AMOLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
